In this article, we'll guide you through the process of disabling two-factor authentication (2FA) on your Incogni account. Although it is highly unrecommended, as 2FA highly increases your account's security, you can remove it.
To remove 2FA from your Incogni account, follow these steps:
- Log into your Incogni account.
- You will have to enter a 2FA code from your authenticator app. If you've lost access to your authenticator application, click Enter a recovery code and use one of the one-time-use recovery codes.
- Once you've logged in, click on the profile icon in the upper-right corner, and select Profile.
- Select the Two-factor authentication tab, and click on Disable 2FA.
- To proceed, you will have to enter a 2FA verification code one last time.
- 2FA is now disabled on your account. You will also be notified about this change via email.
