You can view a detailed history of your interactions with a specific company on the Exposures page, under the Data Brokers tab.
On this page, each request sent on your behalf will be marked with a status. These statuses help you understand the current stage of the data removal process. Here is an explanation of what each status means:
- Completed: The data removal or suppression request has been successfully processed by the data broker.
- In Progress: The request has been sent, and we are currently awaiting a response from the data broker.
- Failed: This status indicates that a temporary technical error occurred when our system tried to send the request. No action is needed from you—we automatically resubmit any failed requests to ensure the removal process continues without interruption.
- Escalated: When a data broker fails to comply with multiple removal requests. This means our team is taking additional measures and applying further pressure to ensure your data is removed.
It is important to note that the exact message you see for each status can change depending on the situation and the type of broker (e.g., whether they handle private or public records). This is done to provide you with more precise context about each specific request.
