Incogni sends out automatic data deletion requests to over 420 data brokers and monitors more than 3,000 websites. However, you may still find some of your information online. This article explains why this happens and how to fix it.
Data brokers not covered by Incogni
Although Incogni covers 420+ data brokers and 3,000+ websites with our Custom Removals feature, some brokers aren’t included automatically for a couple of reasons:
- Incogni focuses on including data brokers that hold personally identifiable information (names, email addresses).
-
We disable the data broker while we review its data collection and removal practices and confirm they align with current regulations.
NOTE: Once the review is done and we decide to re-add the data broker to our database, we continue sending automatic personal data deletion requests.
To learn more, you can check our blog post detailing which data brokers Incogni currently covers.
Removing your personal information
- Check whether the data broker is already included in our list and whether we've sent a request. You can check the status of all requests within the “Exposures” tab on the Incogni website.
- Submit a manual request directly to the data broker. To do so, follow our guide on removing your data from data brokers.
- If you are an Incogni Unlimited or Family Unlimited subscriber, submit a request using our Custom Removals feature. You can learn how to submit a request via Custom Removals on our Help Center.
