Incogni Protect is Incogni’s most comprehensive plan, combining personal data removal, continuous monitoring, and identity theft recovery support into a single service.
It’s designed to help reduce your exposure to identity theft before it happens, alert you if your information is misused, and support you if recovery is needed.
NOTE: Incogni Protect is available only to users residing in the U.S., including U.S. territories and the District of Columbia. Users residing in New York (NY) and Washington (WA) can access all the benefits of the service except for the insurance.
What does Protect include?
Incogni Protect brings together two layers of identity protection:
Incogni Unlimited
Incogni Unlimited gives you access to Custom Removals, allowing you to request the removal of your personal data from websites that aren’t covered by our standard automated service.

Coveron (previously NordProtect)
Coveron is an identity protection service from Nord Security that helps safeguard your personal and financial information through continuous monitoring and real-time alerts.
It scans databases—including the dark web—for exposed data such as email addresses, Social Security numbers, and payment details, notifying you immediately if anything is found. Coveron also monitors credit activity and criminal records to detect signs of identity misuse, helping you respond quickly to potential threats.
How does Incogni Protect work?
After purchasing Incogni Protect:
- Your insurance coverage starts immediately.
- A Coveron account is automatically created for you.
- You receive a welcome email with instructions to set up your Coveron profile.
- If you're new to Incogni, you’ll also need to set up your Incogni account to start the data removal process.
To access the Coveron dashboard, you’ll need to create a Nord account. From there, you can:
- Add additional data for monitoring
- View and manage security alerts
- Set up credit monitoring (identity verification is required through TransUnion)
How to get Incogni Protect?
The steps depend on whether you are a new or existing customer. Please note that Incogni Protect can only be purchased by users located in the United States.
If you're a new subscriber
Visit Incogni’s pricing page and select the Protect plan to get started (the Protect option will only appear for U.S. residents):
If you are already an Incogni subscriber
Here's how to upgrade to Protect plan:

Log in to your Incogni account:

Once logged in, click your email address in the upper-right corner on desktop, or tap the profile icon on mobile:

Click "Profile":

Select the “Identity-theft protection” tab in the menu on the left:
NOTE: If you don’t see this tab as an option, it likely means your region is not eligible. Incogni Protect is currently available only to U.S. residents.

Click "Upgrade to Protect":
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.
